Only have 1 minute? Here are three key takeaways from the piece:

  • Bulgarian proptech OfficeRnD secured a strategic undisclosed investment from Blue Star Innovation Partners (BSIP)
  • Since 2015 the company has achieved significant growth, expanding its customer base to over a thousand companies in 70 countries.
  • The new investment will help OfficeRnD grow faster and improve its products.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, flexible work arrangements have emerged as a popular choice for employers and employees seeking a balance between remote work and in-person collaboration.

With this in mind, OfficeRnD has been enabling flexible work models that drive efficient use of real estate and elevate employee engagement. Their platform empowers landlords, flexible workspace operators, and businesses to adopt a flexible-first approach, enabling management of workplace environments and effective engagement with individuals.

Nowadays, over a thousand companies from 70 countries rely on OfficeRnD’s Flex and Hybrid products, which combine the flexibility of remote work with the social and professional benefits of working in an office setting.

The company has its core leadership and development teams in Bulgaria, and also operates from offices in London, Australia, and the US. In 2021 the company closed a $10M funding round that helped achieve its desired market expansion, and it also made Deloitte’s list of top 50 fastest growing tech companies from the region.

Miroslav Miroslavov, CEO of OfficeRnD, emphasized the company’s commitment to meeting the needs of their clients, and hence the new partnership with BSIP, which will help the Bulgarian company achieve its goals.

“This investment will propel our mission forward and allow us to continue to transform the coworking and hybrid work industries,” Miroslavov, an experienced entrepreneur and a part of the Telerik mafia,   said in a statement.

The partnership with Frisco-based investment firm BSIP is also a vital part of the company’s long-term strategy, and it is expected to fuel their expansion plans and introduce new features.

“As a customer-focused organization, we are committed to our industry and our clients’ success. We knew that if we wanted to serve our mission even better and serve more businesses, we needed a partner with real experience working with property management solutions,” Miroslavov added.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Miro and the rest of the OfficeRnD team as they continue to make property management more efficient, so flexible workplaces can focus on delivering the highest quality experience for their tenants,” said Dan Wechsler, CEO of Blue Star Innovation Partners.
