Working remotely became very popular since the pandemic hit the world back in 2020. At Motion Software, however, it has been the default model ever since its foundation in 2016. The decision to adopt this way of work comes from the company’s CEO Christo Peev. While being an enterprise consultant before starting Motion Software, he was stuck in the office for 8-10 hours a day which didn’t allow him to follow his passions outside of work. Thus, he decided to start a company where employees can work from wherever they like and give them the opportunity to follow their dreams.
“We want to give the freedom of our people to work as freelancers, while having the security of permanent employment. We believe that offering a fully remote model makes everyone feel comfortable, which makes them more productive.” This is what Lubomira Stoynova, Community Manager at Motion Software, shared with us.
We sat down with both Christo and Lubomira to learn more about the idea behind the company and the core values of Motion Software. They also share how to keep employees motivated in a remote environment. Lubomira points out the importance of team gatherings and also shines the light on their new initiative “Outpost”. Christo shares his view on how the workplace of the future will look like.
