If 2024 was defined by its consistency for Polish startups, 2025 will be remembered as the year the Polish startup ecosystem shifted from a promising regional player to a global heavyweight. While 2024 saw the birth of ElevenLabs as a unicorn and a steady flow of ~€500M across the market, 2025 has completely rewritten the playbook.
Starting of with the “astonishing” Series C from ElevenLabs in the first half of the year.
By the end of 2025, it became clear that the cautious approach of late 2024 had evolved into a high-stakes for Polish startup ecosystem. We are no longer just seeing a high volume of rounds; we are seeing that allow Polish-founded companies to compete for global leadership.
The top 15 rounds now represent a significantly higher percentage of total capital than in previous years. We’ve moved from a “stabilizing” ecosystem to one where winners like ElevenLabs, Spacelift, and Nomagic are attracting world-class Silicon Valley and European investors (a16z, Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners). In 2024, many industries were still “developing stability.” In 2025, we see deep tech, robotics, and defense taking center stage.
Below, you can find the 15 biggest funding rounds in Polish startups for 2025, along with key details about them. Check the rest of the Central and Eastern Europe 2025 mappings here.
