If you had a one-way ticket to unlock the secrets of living a longer and healthier life, would you take it?
The aging population is a global trend, and in many developed countries, the growing number of elderly individuals is having a significant impact on society. By 2074, the population aged 65 and over is expected to reach 20.7%, with the number of people aged 80 and over more than tripling.
However, a longer life doesn’t always guarantee a healthy and fulfilling one. In recent years, advancements in healthcare practices and technologies have fueled a growing movement to develop therapies that address aging as a fundamental cause of disease.
Consequently, extending healthy life expectancy and improving the quality of life for the aging population have become inseparable goals that go hand in hand.
In today’s article, we highlight six longevity festivals from around the world that gather experts in the field. While some of these festivals focus on businesses and medical professionals, others emphasize the small, everyday actions people can take to improve their quality of life.
