In H1 2025, Hungarian startup ecosystem shows significant growth in amount and frequency of funding rounds compared to the same period last year. This year, the top ten Hungarian funding rounds amounted to a total of €41.2M. That is considerable uptake from top rounds of 2023 (€15.4M) and 2024 (€24.4M).
If we look at insiders’ notes, Startup Hungary also points in their 2024 Report that total investments stagnated last year, hovering around €54 million in 2024. This stagnation mirrored ongoing investor caution across Europe, where funding remained constrained compared to peak years. However, the biggest funding rounds of H1 2025 prove there might be positive change incoming.

Other important deals and exits from Hungarian ecosystem
In March 2025, Hungarian startup DynamO Pricing attracted an angel investment of 350,000 dollars. The investment is registered by a total of 8 angel investors, including the actors known from the Hungarian startup ecosystem, such as Zoltán Györkő and the former leaders of Balabit. Founded in 2017, DynamO Pricing entered the market with a self-developed pricing engine, which primarily helps event organizers, theatres, festivals and sports clubs to increase the number of spectators and ticket revenues.
In April 2025, IncQuery Group, Hungarian firm that specializes in application lifecycle management (ALM) and systems engineering services, was acquired by PTC, a global software company with a market capitalization of $18.79 billion. The move aims to enhance PTC’s offerings in ALM, systems engineering, and product lifecycle management (PLM).
In May 2025, Seyfor, one of Europe’s leading providers of enterprise IT solutions, has acquired 100% of the shares in Revolution Software Kft., a key player in the Hungarian ERP solutions market.
In May 2025, Group.one has signed an agreement to acquire MiniCRM Zrt. including its Romanian subsidiary MiniCRM Software SRL, a leading provider of CRM solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in Europe, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
