10 Biggest Funding Rounds in Greece (H1 2025): PropTech Booms, TheRecursive.com
, ~

Startup funding climate in Greece is quite fluctuating in the last few years. The second half of 2024 saw a slowdown in funding for Greek startups, both in the number of deals and total investment. In the first half of 2024, there were nine funding rounds exceeding €1M, totaling €143.4M. This included Blueground’s €42M Series D and Hellas Direct’s €30M Late Seed round. In contrast, H2 2024 saw just seven notable deals, amounting to only €37.7M.

We see a notable uptick in the first half of 2025: we see more €1M+ round, but the round sizes are still not even close to H1 2024. Top 10 funding rounds for H1 2025 in Greek-based and Greek-founded startups amount to €74.11M. Seed stage rounds were dominant, with majority of the round sizes between 1-4 million euros.

Below you can check biggest H1 2025’s funding rounds in Greece and key details about the startups. Check the rest of the Central and Eastern Europe H1 2025 mappings here.
