Romanian GoTech World, one of the biggest IT and Digital events in Eastern and Central Europe, is turning 10 years old in 2021. This year’s edition will be available online between the 10th and the 11th of November through the platform MyConnector.
Alexandru Maxineanu, GoTech World’s Project Manager, says that the tenth edition is organized under the concept of “Revive. Rise. Accelerate the future.”. The event aims to find digital solutions in the new normal.
For two days, GoTech World will become a digital tech hub in the region for founders that want to show their projects on eight stages. These are IT OPS, Devops, JAVA, retail and e-commerce, business transformation, digital marketing, and cybersecurity, along with the main one.
The Expo Area is another option where 100+ exhibitors can show their business ideas and network with the community to answer questions or develop partnerships.
The digital event presents learning opportunities, where international tech experts can discuss B2B strategies to get ahead of the competition; networking options with thousands of businesspeople from marketers and retailers, to entrepreneurs and developers; as well as 3D virtual booths at the Expo Area. The speakers will touch on subjects such as smart cities and clothes, 3D printing, micro-influencers, e-commerce, ransomware challenges, or integrating Kubernetes with DevOps.
A decade of GoTech World 2021 means over 1000 international experts, more than 1000 IT companies, web developers, and communication agencies, and 70,000 professionals from various niches. Last year’s edition was the first online event and the only one in the region that gathered over 14,000 visitors, almost 6000 companies, and 130 speakers, both local and international ones.
Amongst the previous edition’s speakers, there was Klaus Iohannis, President of Romania; Wineke Haagsma, Director Corporate Sustainability at PwC; Raj Samani, Chief Scientist at McAfee; Karl Weinmeister, Cloud AI Developer Advocacy Manager at Google; Abel Wang, Principal Cloud Advocate and DevOps Lead at Microsoft, to name a few.
The event is organized by UNIVERSUM, a Romanian company that specializes in corporate events and which is also behind Bucharest Tech Week. With every type of ticket, visitors will have access to all the sessions as post-event recordings for inspiration.
