Czech Startups Raise €47.5M in H2 2024 with Seed Round Surge

In the second half of 2024, the Czech startup ecosystem managed to raise aprox. €47.5M. There was saturation of late-seed rounds closed by a couple of startups with a focus on expansion. 

In 2023, Czech startups secured €173.1M in funding, ranking the country fourth in Eastern Europe for capital raised. 

In the first half of 2024, the Czech innovation ecosystem has attracted around €217, with Rohlinik contribution with the biggest funding round for a Czech company, totaling €160M. For the whole 2024, the total amount would be €264.5M for the recorded rounds so far.

Other highlights & smaller rounds

In September, AI-based platform for concert videos Get Moments secured a €500K funding round from Purple Ventures.

In October, software solution startup PARTORY raised €1.25M from Jet Ventures.

In November, DYNANIC, specializing in technology that boosts the performance and integration of programmable chips for high-speed applications, secured €550K in funding from Tensor Ventures and several business angels.

In December, mental health startup Elin.ai closed a €1M pre-seed round, securing €420K from JSK Investments.
