Bulgaria’s startup landscape witnessed a major milestone in the first half of 2025, with EnduroSat emerging as the undisputed leader in terms of capital raised. The Sofia-based space tech company secured two major rounds, including €20 million in February, and a €43 million Series B in May, led by Peter Thiel’s’ Founders Fund, bringing its total funding to €85.72 million. These rounds alone account for the majority of disclosed VC funding in the Bulgarian ecosystem so far this year.

The Bulgarian funding rounds in H1 2025 amounted to €90.08 million.
