Polish Tech Group acquires Billia.cloud from ApiHawk, strengthening expansion plans
Billia.cloud is one of the businesses of the software company ApiHawk, dedicated to innovative software solutions for hosting and domain companies, IT service providers, and telecoms.
Polish tech group Digital Media Technology Sp announced the acquisition of Billia.cloud, a business owned by the Bulgarian company ApiHawk. This marks another successful transaction for ApiHawk’s founders, following their previous deals: the 2021 sale of hosting provider ICN.Bg to the team.blue group, and the 2019 sale of the ActiveAuth two-factor authentication app to the American company CommuniGate Systems.
The deal for the acquisition of the Billia.cloud product was finalized in September 2024, with the value of the transaction undisclosed. With this step, the Polish technology leader Digital Media Technology Sp. plans rapid expansion and consolidation of the brands it manages.

Potential for growth in automation for hosting and telecoms
The other partners in the company also have extensive experience in the technology sector and entrepreneurship: Pavel Nikolov, who develops brands in the field of AI and business process automation, Borislav Borislavov, who runs the technology company OpsHero.com, providing cloud and DevOps solutions, and Gergana Kuzmanova, a marketing and business consultant on the board of Power of BG.
The team founded ApiHawk in 2014, with the company focusing on developing software for managing and automating sales processes for digital service providers.
At the time of the acquisition, Billia.Cloud was managing over 800,000 services, with the company’s long-term clients including the Finnish Ministry of Telecommunications for the management of the .fi domain zone and a major telecom in Saudi Arabia.
