In 2025, Czech-founded startups attracted about €540 million in investment, a 7.7% year-on-year decline, reported by ROLU.cz. According to their report, the market recorded 79 deals, slightly down from 80 the previous year.

The three largest rounds made up 52% of total funding: Cera (€146M), Mews (€64M) and Exaforce (€64M). Notably, none of these companies is headquartered in the Czech Republic — Cera is based in the UK, Mews in the Netherlands, and Exaforce in the US.

In terms of verticals, RegTech and cybersecurity were the preferred ones.
