Romanian-founded DRUID AI today announced it has raised $31 (€27.88) million in Series C financing to fuel the global expansion of its enterprise-ready agentic AI platform. The round comes under the leadership of newly appointed CEO Joseph Kim, who brings decades of executive experience in scaling AI and technology businesses.

The round was led by Cipio Partners, with participation from TQ Ventures, Karma Ventures, Smedvig, and Hoxton Ventures. The funding will support DRUID AI’s mission to help enterprises create, manage, and orchestrate conversational AI agents, advancing adoption across industries.

“This investment is both a testament to DRUID AI’s success and a catalyst to elevate businesses globally through the power of agentic AI,” said Kim. “Delivering real business outcomes requires understanding companies’ pain points and introducing innovations that solve complex challenges. That’s the DRUID AI way.”

Leadership with a strong track record

Kim previously served as CEO of Sumo Logic and held senior roles at Francisco Partners, Citrix, SolarWinds, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and GE. He also serves on the boards of SmartBear and Andela.

DRUID AI cofounder and COO Andreea Plesea welcomed Kim’s appointment: “Joseph’s commitment to customer success and delivering the exact solutions clients need is in total sync with the approach that has fueled our progress. The Series C and his leadership position DRUID AI for expanded innovation and impact.”

Trusted by industry leaders

The funding and leadership transition follow DRUID AI’s recognition as a Challenger in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Conversational AI Platforms. In 2024, the company achieved 2.7x year-over-year ARR growth, powering more than 1 billion conversations across thousands of AI agents.

With over 300 clients worldwide, DRUID AI serves industries spanning banking, government, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and retail. Customers include AXA Insurance, Carrefour, the FDA, Georgia Southern University, Kmart Australia, Liberty Global Group, NHS, and Orange Auchan.
