Czech Republic’s startup scene is currently #30 globally, with over 700 startups and a 17.3% year-over-year growth as it evolves into one of Central Europe’s most vibrant innovation hubs. According to the Smart Market Report 2025, Czech startups now contribute over 5% of the country’s GDP and employ more than 150,000 people.

Other relevant funding news and exists in the Czech Republic (H1 2025)

In March, ArtMaster, a Czech startup specializing in music education, closed its third round of funding of more than €800,000. Purple Ventures led the round, with the participation of Gi21.

Later in March, Czech medtech startup HTGmedical, raised €600,000 in pre-seed funding from LUMUS Collective, Jinej fond, 10x, and Dendis Capital, plus a €160,000 CzechInvest grant, bringing total funding to €760,000.

Customerscore.io, helping SaaS companies identify churning customers and unlock the potential of existing ones, has raised a pre-seed investment (the full amount remains undisclosed). The funding round was led by JIC Ventures, with participation from Nextech Ventures and angel investors Miroslav Uďan, Michaela Schärerová, and Lukáš Martinák.
