For Croatian startup ecosystem 2025 started a bit slower than last year. Project Mobility opening 2024 with €100 million cannot be easily surpassed, and even early stage funding was more active. If we look on the positive side, although 2025 starts with only a few substantial rounds, some of Croatian startups that stormed through funding draught are heading securely towards growth stage. Also, the second half of 2025 might show us some more dynamic as local funds like Fil Rouge Capital and AYMO Ventures recently raised funding as well.

In May 2025, Bulgarian investment firm ImPulse Growth invested 500,000 euros in Croatian-founded biotech startup GlycanAge as part of a last year’s $5 million funding round.

In March 2025, Croatian Cenosco announced a growth investment led by Summit Partners, with participation from existing investor Fortino Capital. The amount was not disclosed. The company’s Integrity Management Suite (IMS) provides mission-critical integrity, reliability and process safety solutions to some of the world’s largest oil & gas, chemical and power companies, including Shell, Equinor and PTTGC.
