Greece’s PropTech Prosperty closed a €5.5 million Series A funding round, led by Eurobank. The investment was made through a capital increase, with Eurobank acquiring a 25% stake in Prosperty RE Ltd.

“This investment enables us to accelerate the pace of innovation, enhance our technological infrastructure, and expand our operations internationally, always with the goal of providing substantial value to our partners and clients,” shared Antonis Markopoulos, CEO and Co-founder of Prosperty. He emphasized the importance of aligning efforts and building synergies with Eurobank.

SaaS solutions for property management

Prosperty, founded in 2020 by Antonis Markopoulos, Nikos Patsogiannis, and Antonis Despotakis, offers SaaS solutions that aim to modernize and elevate holistic property management and promotion.

The company’s client base include individuals, institutional investors, asset managers, and industry professionals.

With this funding, the goal is to jointly develop and launch innovative products and services in the real estate market, capitalizing on global trends and the convergence of the FinTech and PropTech sectors

In August 2020, Prosperty raised €1.1 million from Velocity.Partners, Metavallon VC, and angel investors. In August 2021, the company secured an additional €3.3 million from its existing pre-seed investors Velocity.Partners and Metavallon. They were joined by BigPi Ventures.

Expanding its platform to 2,000 properties by year-end

Eurobank is proceeding with the immediate promotion of 800 owned properties through the Prosperty platform (theprosperty.com), utilizing its own network of partnering brokers, digital infrastructure, data, targeted real estate marketing, and the full range of real estate brokerage services offered by Prosperty. The goal is to increase the number of these properties to at least 2,000 by the end of the year.

According to their data, Prosperty’s B2C platforms attract over 800,000 visitors monthly and host more than 12,000 active property listings.

“From day one, we envisioned a real estate market where technology, data, and integrated services simplify and accelerate every step of the process. Our SaaS platform has evolved into a strategic tool for institutional investors and professionals both in Greece and internationally, supporting the creation and operation of integrated real estate ecosystems. Our partnerships with leading institutional players are the foundation of our growth,” added Nikos Patsogiannis, COO and Co-founder of Prosperty.

Prosperty employs over 100 specialized professionals and has a presence in Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Heraklion, and Cyprus, with a wide network of partners across Greece.
