Poland’s startup ecosystem is among the most promising in Central and Eastern Europe, attracting regional attention. However, some industries are still developing stability.
Recent developments indicate progress. ElevenLabs became a unicorn in just two years, and several new venture capital funds launched with backing from the Polish Fund of Funds, PFR Ventures.
Financial data shows that 2024 remained consistent with 2023, with 142 Polish startups raising approximately €500M, according to PFR Ventures. The largest rounds occurred in the first half of the year, led by ICEYE’s €90M Series E and ElevenLabs’ €80M Series B, while the second half saw a higher number of smaller rounds. Our analysis of public data identified 17 deals over €1M, totaling €79M.
The ecosystem is expected to shift in 2025. ElevenLabs has just announced a €173M Series C round, with further significant investments likely to follow.
