VCLeaders, in collaboration with the Polish Development Fund (PFR), PFR Ventures, Balnord.vc, #CyberMadeInPoland, and media partner The Recursive, is organizing SHIELD, an event about DefenseTech aimed at bringing together representatives from public administration, military, industry, and venture capital.
The event, set to take place on October 2 in Warsaw, during the same week as the Warsaw Security Summit, will focus on promoting the financing and development of defense technologies through dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders.

As Europe faces a complex security landscape, SHIELD by VCLeaders seeks to facilitate discussions on defense innovation and explore opportunities for collaboration and investment. The event will feature expert panels addressing current trends and challenges in defense technology, as well as startup-investor matchmaking sessions tailored to innovators in the defense tech space.
“This event is a platform for partnerships that will shape the future of defense technology,” said Eliza Kruczkowska, Innovation Director at the Polish Development Fund. She emphasized the importance of collaboration between public and private sectors in enhancing Europe’s defense capabilities and advancing its position in global security technology.
