Czech-led Exaforce, cyber defense platform, has raised $125 (€106.83) million in Series B funding. Investors participating in the round include HarbourVest, Peak XV Partners, Mayfield, Khosla Ventures, Seligman Ventures, and AICONIC. The raise comes just one year after the company closed a $75 million Series A, bringing its total funding to $200 million and underscoring strong investor confidence in its long-term vision.
Adfin, the fintech startup founded by Tom Pope and Romanian entrepreneur Ciprian Diaconasu, has secured $18 (€15.38) million in a Series A funding round led by Index Ventures, with participation from existing investor Visionaries Club. Coupa has acquired Rossum, the Czech-founded startup focused on intelligent document processing (IDP), marking a major step forward in autonomous finance and enterprise AI adoption. The deal builds on the companies’ existing collaboration around automating complex invoice workflows for Accounts Payable teams. Following the acquisition, Coupa intends to embed Rossum’s AI-powered document intelligence throughout its source-to-pay platform to deliver greater automation, faster processing, and improved visibility and control over enterprise spending.
Romanian-founded DesignVerse has raised $5.5 (€4.7) million to scale its next-generation AI-powered software development products for mission-critical enterprise systems. Its technology is already being used by EUROCONTROL, the pan-European aviation organization supporting tens of millions of passengers every year.
Riga-based BirdyChat, a professional messaging platform backed by early-stage investors including DIG Ventures, Change Ventures, and Tiny VC, has secured €1.7 million to support its expansion across Europe. The company is now rolling out access to more than 50,000 users on its waitlist throughout Europe and the UK, with the app available on iOS, Android, and macOS.
