The Recursive is an independent community-born online media focused on the emerging tech and startup ecosystems in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Our mission is to provide constructive reporting on the progress of the local innovation community.
The definition of recursive innovation shows us that technological innovations are interconnected and dependent on each other. A successful discovery or invention in most cases is based on several previous ones. As journalists, we also believe that the stories of local pioneers can inspire and shape a big wave of success stories for the next generation of founders and innovators. We believe that by providing coverage for what’s happening in the entrepreneurial landscape in CEE, we can expand the space of possibilities for the region.
