CleverTap Launches A User Retention Platform For B2C Startups Looking To Grow Faster

CleverTap, the Retention Cloud company that helps app-first brands personalize and optimize all consumer touch points, has announced the launch of CleverTap for Startups (C4S). Through this initiative, CleverTap will offer a full stack retention platform to all budding digital consumer businesses, in order to help them personalize and optimize all customer touchpoints, improving user engagement and conversion. 

Till date, thousands of large digital-native brands, including tech startups/ scaleups from Central and Eastern Europe have benefited from CleverTap’s platform. Croatian Photomath, Romanian Blackcab, Estonian unicorn Bolt and Macedonian Grouper are some of the companies which have already solved their needs at scale, speed, and security, thanks to CleverTap. Owning a big part of the Indian, Southeast Asian, Latin American, and Middle Eastern market, CleverTap aims to make solutions even more affordable for businesses with limited monthly active users, pre-launch and early-stage startups. 

What are the unique benefits of CleverTap for Startups?

CleverTap has currently partnered with more than 50 venture capital firms, incubators, and business accelerators including Sequoia Surge, Techstars, Y-combinator, AWS Activate, Accel and others to provide exclusive discounts and resources to early-stage startups through this initiative. The C4S initiative was undertaken a year back and the offerings have been finetuned following feedback from 1000+ startups and is now ready to launch. 

Based on this feedback, CleverTap has included a 30-day trial period before committing to payment, plans starting as low as 5000 Monthly Active Users (MAUs) and have added the power of CleverTap University to teach startups how to be specialists in the Engagement process. Additionally, customers will have the option to customize the platform with add-ons and will have the ability to only pay for the services they use. By developing a platform that integrates both Analytics and Engagement features and therefore solves multiple problems, CleverTap aspires to be a growth partner for more than 100,000 new businesses by the end of 2025.

One of the main selling points of CleverTap’s startup solution appears to be the all-in-one approach as according to the company young ventures don’t have the time or capacity to purchase several products and integrate them together.

“In startups, when you have too many things to manage at once and a limited team of people, having a platform like CleverTap, which solves multiple problems, is critical. As CleverTap combines Analytics and Engagement features in a single platform, we were able to replace multiple tools,” share from Ultrahuman, a health and fitness app that tripled organic conversions with CleverTap.

What is the ideal startup profile?

The platform was created with an understanding of the needs of both SMBs and startups. Any size business-to-consumer company that uses a subscription, in-app purchase, eCommerce, On-demand or Mobility services, Transactional or Marketplace model, or even ad-based content as a monetization model can benefit from the CleverTap program. As far as target users are concerned, it will be startups ranging from CEO/CPO/CMO, Head of Growth, PMs, Marketing Managers or Growth Managers.
