• Bulgarian e-commerce startup AIOPSGROUP joins digital solutions and software house Valantic.•

• The acquisition aims to further strengthen Valantic’s position on the European e-commerce market.

• The German digital powerhouse now makes Bulgaria its new center of excellence. The sum of the deal is undisclosed.

Founded in 2019 by CEO Don Santrac and CTO Slavy Slavov, AIOPSGROUP specializes in designing and optimizing B2C and B2B shopping solutions for global blue-chip retailers using the Salesforce Commerce platform.

AIOPSGROUP’s proprietary monitoring solution enhances customer experience, optimizes sales and payment channels, and prevents fraud cases, ultimately boosting ROI for their customers, including brands such as PUMA, Rossignol, Fenix Outdoor, MCM Worldwide, and Acne Studios.

The monitoring tool tracks over 200 key performance indicators (KPIs) in real-time for sales, payment, and order transactions, as well as monitors data exchanges with product information systems (PIM) and order management systems (OMS).

Strengthening its European presence

With more than 3,500 specialized solution consultants and developers, Valantic is represented in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, and many additional international locations. The latest acquisition now means that the German powerhouse strengthens its footprint in the European Salesforce and retail market.

“As part of our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients and maintaining our position as a leading provider of consulting, software and IT services, we at Valantic are thrilled to extend our operations in Bulgaria. With its highly skilled workforce, strategic location and excellent infrastructure, Bulgaria is an ideal location for expanding our operations and establishing it as a center of excellence for Valantic. We see tremendous potential in Bulgaria and are excited about the possibilities that this expansion will bring,” Uwe Tüben, Managing Director of the CX Division and Partner at valantic, said in a press release.

The newly established competence center will focus on serving global retailers with complex B2B and B2C e-commerce platforms, AIOPSGROUP says.

“We plan to continue growing the office in Sofia; it will remain the main technology center of excellence for us, and with the current acquisition, we plan to accelerate the growth further and give more opportunities for our team to work on even more challenging projects,” Slavi Slavov, AIOPSGROUP’s VP Delivery, tells The Recursive.

“Our aim is to become Europe’s number one CX service provider with a reputation for innovative solutions and outstanding service. To achieve this, we must remain one step ahead of industry trends and new technologies and adapt flexibly to our customers’ changing needs and preferences,” Don Santrac, CEO of AIOPSGROUP added.

For Slavov, Bulgaria offers a good balance between cost and quality. “While countries such as Ukraine have bigger capacity than us, they cost more and are outside of the EU so even legislation, data protection rules such as GDPR work in our favor”, Slavov explained in a recent story.

With the addition of AIOPSGROUP, Valantic can also provide support for all relevant Salesforce Clouds, including Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, and Tableau, through its specialized team of 300 developers and consultants focused on Salesforce solution technologies.
