Czech digital mental health provider Hedepy has acquired HearMe, a Polish platform specializing in workplace mental health support. The deal aims to claim Hedepy’s position as the largest online psychotherapy platform in Central and Eastern Europe, with operations across nine markets, over 1,000 professional psychotherapists, nearly 200 corporate clients, and more than 300,000 therapies provided annually.

The transaction, finalized in the first half of 2025 after negotiations began last autumn, will see HearMe integrated into the Hedepy brand. The combined services will be offered under a new Hedepy for Business line, which will include therapy for employees, mood measurement tools, webinars, and educational content to strengthen workplace well-being. HearMe will contribute localized content and app enhancements to the portfolio.

“Acquiring HearMe is a strategic step for us. It allows us to specialize further in corporate care while also offering HearMe’s clients access to our services abroad. These synergies make perfect sense,” said Lukáš Krčil, CEO and co-founder of Hedepy.

The acquisition brings Hedepy more than 80 new corporate clients and a team of 120 professionals, including psychologists, therapists, coaches, nutritionists, and physiotherapists. HearMe’s co-founders Adam Radzki and Katarzyna Gryzło will join Hedepy’s leadership team. Radzki will oversee business development in Poland as Head of Sales, while Gryzło will lead B2B marketing across the group.

“Merging with Hedepy is a logical step that opens doors to new markets while preserving the personal approach, expertise, and accessibility that our Polish clients value,” said Katarzyna Gryzło, co-founder of HearMe.

From startup to regional leader

Founded in 2020, Hedepy quickly expanded beyond the Czech Republic into eight additional European countries. Initially focused on individuals, the company has increasingly developed services for employers, responding to the growing demand for mental health support in the workplace.

Poland played a pivotal role in this shift. With the HearMe acquisition, Hedepy aims to replicate the Polish model in other markets, combining corporate-focused services with broad accessibility for individuals.

By the end of 2025, Hedepy targets break-even with a projected gross transaction value of €13 million and is preparing for a new investment round.

Future growth and AI integration

Looking ahead, Hedepy plans to expand hybrid online–offline care and integrate artificial intelligence to enhance its services.

“AI is a major technological advancement, but it must be used thoughtfully in mental health care. Our mission remains to make professional help more accessible and faster, while preserving personal contact where it matters most,” Krčil added.

The acquisition marks a major milestone in Hedepy’s international growth and sets the stage for further consolidation across the European digital mental health landscape.
