• Serbia-founded delivery analytics platform Mily Technologies secured €1M pre-seed round

• The funding round is led by South Central Ventures and supported by Katapult Accelerator

• The startup’s platform helps parcel delivery companies analyze their delivery operations.

The Serbian startup’s platform collects data and presents it in a way that is easy for delivery professionals to understand, providing information about the time, location, and events that occur during the last mile of the delivery process.

Founded in 2021, the startup’s co-founders Miloš Zlatković and Aleksandar Buha used their extensive experience and background in system software and data science to come up with a solution that processes complex data and creates one source of truth.

By using Mily’s platform, last-mile professionals can quickly identify possibilities for reducing costs, improving delivery processes, and confidently growing their out-of-home networks.

“Being newcomers to the industry forced us to ask a lot of questions to get a deep understanding of the space. Precisely this approach led us to create a unique solution on the market. Over the last two years, we’ve accumulated a wealth of information and ideas from our customers and partners, and we believe the time has come to accelerate,” Mily Tech’s CEO Zlatković said.

The latest funding will now help the company expand across Europe and grow its team.

“A significant portion of the funds will be used to expand the team, bringing in new talent and expertise to further drive innovation and differentiation in the last-mile delivery industry. The company is committed to bringing a fresh perspective and a customer-centric approach to the industry, and the new hires will help support this mission,” the company tells The Recursive.

The startup has offices in Belgrade and Munich, with some of the biggest courier companies in the Balkan region as their clients, and looking to partner with industry-related companies across Europe.
