👯 Founder(s): Michael Lazarenko (Co-founder & CEO), Maxim Gorinov (Co-founder & CPO), Valentin Gololobov (Co-founder & CTO).

📅 Founding year: 2023

🏭 Industry: Deep tech / dev tools — software infrastructure for physical AI and semiconductor enablement.

💥 Problem: Every intelligent machine depends on software that must talk reliably to dozens of different chips, none of which share a common language. Engineers currently read through thousands of pages of documentation and hand-write the integration code, which slows down physical AI development.

📣 Solution: Embedd builds a digital twin of the hardware, giving AI agents the context to run the integration themselves and automatically generate the code that makes each chip usable by the software layer above it.

👥 Customers: Semiconductor companies — Embedd is already working with multiple chipmakers, most recently Microchip Technology, for whom it is enabling Zephyr support. The end markets it points to span robotics, manufacturing, healthcare and automotive.

🎳 Team size: 2-10

🌱 Stage: Pre-seed

💰 Investment amount: €2.31M ($2.7M)

🚀 Funded by: Led by Seedcamp, with participation from Cocoa, Connect Ventures, 2100 Ventures, Vesna Capital, U.ventures, Underline Ventures, Common Magic and Roosh Ventures.

👁️‍🗨️ Investor's perspective: "AI's next chapter will play out in the physical world, but today's software stack was never designed for that reality. Embedd is tackling one of the fundamental challenges facing industries from robotics and manufacturing to healthcare and automotive, and we're excited to back Michael and the team as they build the infrastructure underpinning the next generation of intelligent machines." said Carlos Eduardo Espinal MBE, General Partner at Seedcamp.

💡 It will be spent on… Continuing to develop the platform and expanding its work with semiconductor companies.

💬 In their own words: Michael Lazarenko, co-founder and CEO: "The next wave of AI will power factories, vehicles, robots and critical infrastructure, but today, every change in hardware creates huge complexity for software teams and that friction is already massively slowing innovation. We built Embedd to address exactly that, and we're thrilled to have the backing of Seedcamp as we scale." He added: "The promise of physical AI is enormous, but today's hardware fragmentation is slowing innovation. This funding enables us to expand our platform and help more semiconductor companies bring their devices into emerging software ecosystems."

💪 Their specialty… Embedd was founded by three Ukrainian entrepreneurs whose previous hardware company was hit by chip shortages during Covid and later disrupted by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. It works directly inside chipmakers' own ecosystems, as with its Microchip Technology partnership, rather than asking developers to switch platforms, getting customers to production-ready chip software up to six times faster than the current approach.
