Budapest-based robotics startup Allonic has raised a record $7.2M (€6.12M) pre-seed round led by Visionaries Club and backed by angels from OpenAI and Hugging Face, including Day One Capital, Prototype, SDAC Ventures, TinyVC. The new funding will be spent on accelerating development of the 3D Tissue Braiding platform, expanding engineering and operations teams, and supporting pilot projects and early commercial deployments with industrial partners.

London-based Occam Industries has raised a €3M pre-seed round led by Czech Presto Tech Horizons, with participation from Antler, Freedom Fund, TYR.vc, and other international investors to accelerate deployment and product development. The funding follows the company’s approval for integration testing by Ukraine’s Brave1 defense tech cluster.

Bulgarian cargo drone pioneer DRONAMICS has announced the launch of a new defense platform built around its flagship Black Swan long-range cargo unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which is company’s first dedicated military and security solution. The platform is designed to address the continuous airborne detection and targeting of multi-domain threats across European airspace. Company’s representatives share that the system will support national security, civil protection, and border monitoring by providing persistent Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) coverage.

Polish Demoboost, a platform enabling B2B software companies to deliver scalable, data-rich product demos, has raised €2.8M in funding to accelerate product development and expand its global presence. The round was co-led by Digital Ocean Ventures and Rafał Brzoska’s family office RIO with participation from B-Value. The capital will be used to grow Demoboost’s engineering, customer success, sales, and marketing teams, and further develop its AI-powered demo creation and revenue intelligence tools.

Vilnius-based startup Tingit | You Live, We Fix. has raised €1.5M in  funding to accelerate its mission to modernize maintenance and repair industry. The round was backed by Coinvest Capital, FIRSTPICK, PurposeTech, BADideas.fund, HEARTFELT_, and NGL Ventures.

Latvian startup Deep Space Energy has closed its pre-seed round by raising €350K, led by Outlast Fund and Linas Sargautis, an angel investor and a former co-founder of NanoAvionics. The company also secured additional €580K in public contracts and grants by the European Space Agency (ESA), NATO DIANA, and the Latvian government. The funding will primarily be used to further develop a novel radioisotopic generator toward commercialisation, in a bid to strengthen the European sovereign space and defence industry and power Moon surface exploration.

Unlimit, a global fintech company providing portfolio of financial technology services, announced the opening of its global Advanced Research and Development Center in Belgrade, Serbia. The Center will serve as the company’s primary global hub for advanced technology research and product development, with a strategic focus on artificial intelligence and other breakthrough technologies shaping the future of financial services.

Across the Atlantic

Anthropic has raised $30B in a Series G funding round led by GIC and Coatue, valuing the company at $380B post-money. The round was co-led by D. E. Shaw Ventures, Dragoneer, Founders Fund, ICONIQ, and MGX, with participation from major investors including Sequoia Capital, BlackRock affiliates, Fidelity, Temasek, and Qatar Investment Authority, among others. The funding will support frontier research, product development, and infrastructure expansion. The round also includes a portion of previously announced investments from Microsoft and NVIDIA.

Apptronik, an AI robotics company, announced a $520M Series A extension with backing from existing investors like B Capital, Google, Mercedes-Benz, and PEAK6, along with new investors including AT&T Ventures, John Deere, QIA, and Rockaway Ventures. This follows its oversubscribed $415 million Series A in 2025, bringing the round total to over $935 million and nearly $1 billion in total funding.
